Muttville’s Sherri Franklin Named CNN Hero

The San Francisco-based nonprofit organization, Muttville is dedicated to changing the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs, and to creating better lives for senior dogs through rescue, foster, adoption, and hospice. The Cable News Network CNN recently named Sherri Franklin, founder and executive director of Muttville, a CNN Hero as a part of their ongoing series that spotlights "everyday people making a difference.

Paws for a Cause 2016

Sienna, photo courtesy: Pets Lifeline Pets Lifeline of Sonoma County is an essential lifesaving resource for local dogs and cats who find themselves homeless. Dogs like Sienna, above, are lucky enough to land at Pets Lifeline where they receive food and rehabilitation while they wait to either be reunited with their owners, or new families come to take them home. Nearly 1,000 animals each year are cared for by Pets Lifeline. Pets Lifeline has a few choice fundraising events throughout the year to support their cause.
