Dogtrekker was on hand Saturday and Sunday at the annual Bay Area Pet Fair and Adoptathon in Marin County. The driving force behind the two-day event, Pet Food Express, is reporting that 394 animals were adopted at the fair and that number is expected to increase throughout the week. We can testify that emotions were high each time the bell rang signaling an adoption from one of the approximately 50 animal welfare, rescue, humane and SPCA organizations in attendance.

DogTrekker Barked at Bark In The Park

Last Saturday September 15th DogTrekker was on hand, and paw, at the 18th annual Bark in the Park San Jose at Naglee Park.  The event, hosted by Naglee Park neighborhood’s Campus Community Association (CCA) raised money for the CCA, Humane Society Silicon Valley and San Jose Animal Care Center. With the sun shining and the temperature rising owners and their dogs converged on Naglee Park for a day of window shopping for some, and socializing for all.

This year the goal is to find 500 pets forever homes.  Come and join us October 13 and 14th 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Marin Center in San Rafael for two days of petcentric fun.

Dogma-A Day in Hayes Valley

This past Sunday September 20th DogTrekker enjoyed an unusually warm day in San Francisco made even more enjoyable because we were at Dogma. The event, hosted by the San Francisco SPCA and 7x7 Magazine, brought out little and big dogs alike. With the temperature rising and the sun shining dogs and their uprights strolled through the booths, got advice and checked out some incredibly cute furry pals that were up for adoption.
