DogTrekker.com and the Berkeley Humane Society invite you to join us for a free, fun-filled community block party on Sunday, September 22 from noon until 4 p.m. The block party will have family and animal friendly activities including live music with the "Tribal Blues Band," artisan foods, locally brewed beer and wine, a raffle with great prizes, crafts for kids, vendor booths and the popular Doggie Dance Party. Families, well-mannered dogs, and fearless felines, are all welcome. Those looking to adopt dogs and cats will have the chance to meet adoptable pets from the Berkeley Humane Society, the Milo Foundation, Norsled, and other animal rescue organizations.

Fun Time at the Mill Valley Dog Show

DogTrekker.com spent a fun day Saturday, August 10th, at the 5th Annual Mill Valley Dog Show. The pet-passionate folks at Whole Foods Blithedale provided great entertainment, food, contests and more to hundreds of participants and spectators. Lenny Duke (above), a retired Guide Dog, rode in on Andreas Ade's Harley to take third place in the costume contest. Bark in the Park San Jose 2013 is almost here and DogTrekker.com is looking forward to another paw-tastic day on William Street in downtown San Jose. The last few Bark's events DogTrekker.com attended were pretty spectacular (see what we thought here) and we are sure this year’s event will be another crowd pleaser. On Saturday September 21st, uprights and their dogs will gather from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown San Jose for the largest dog festival in the United States.
