Family Dog Rescue 2018

San Francisco's Family Dog Rescue's guiding philosophy is "We believe that when you adopt a dog, a family is created" — and they exist to help create and sustain those families. From their new headquarters in the Bayview, Family Dog offers a safe haven to dogs in need — puppies, adults, mixed breeds, purebreds, and dogs with disabilities — whether they're stuck in shelters, wandering the streets, or rescued from abusive situations. Funded entirely by donors, Family Dog provides necessary medical care and supportive foster homes, allowing each dog to reveal his or her true personality — and the kind of family they're meant to be part of.

Now Hudson here, the family he wants will like him hanging out with them a lot. Once a wanderer on the streets of Vallejo, this 5-year-old yellow Lab guy has made it quite clear that he likes people a lot — so much so that he's really well behaved. Great leash manners. No begging at the dinner table. Happy when surrounded by a troop of Girl Scouts. When he first arrived, he was overweight from a diet of scrounged junk food, but with healthy food and exercise in his foster home, he's slimmed down and discovered the joy of play. Hudson is especially fond of ear scratches, he just wants to be your pal, and is prepared to be your lifetime dream dog.
