Springtime is here and with this season of sunshine and flowers come many of our favorite dog-friendly events.
Here are some of our favorites happening in April, May and June:
Sacramento SPCA Doggy Dash 2019, Sacramento: April 27. This event attracts thousand of canines and their people from all over Northern California for a fun run, vendor village and full agenda of dog-centric events.
12th Annual DogFest, San Francisco: April 27. DogFest is a celebration of dogs and kids to benefit SFUSD McKinley Elementary School, a K-5 public school at Castro and 14th Streets in San Francisco. The festival offers something for dogs, kids, and parents of all breeds.
3rd Annual WAG Dog Festival, Sausalito: May 11. Join in on the fun at the third annual Wag. Participate in "best of" contests (wag, bark, trick, etc.) and visit Marin’s top animal service providers and rescues.
Animals on Broadway, Walnut Creek: May 19. This is a day of fun for dogs, kids, and their adult companions that kicks off with a walk raising support for ARF. (Individuals and teams can register for the walk at arf.donordrive.com.) The fun continues at the free post-walk community celebration.
6th Annual Pints for Paws, Berkeley: June 1. Come sample craft beer, wine and cider, and enjoy delicious food from 50+ vendors. Bring your crowd-friendly dogs (harnessed of course).
