Napa Humane’s Inaugural Pawsport Napa Valley

Napa Humane has announced that their inaugural “Pawsport Napa Valley” will be held March 23 – 26, 2012. This four-day event will provide animal lovers with a wide variety of exclusive tastings, events, and specials offerings at 18 wineries in the Napa Valley. Proceeds from “Pawsport Napa Valley” will support Napa Humane and its programs and services to fulfill their ongoing mission to promote the welfare of companion animals through protection, advocacy, education and by example. Most of the wineries are dog-friendly!

“Pawsport Napa Valley” passes are $75 per person and include complimentary tastings at the participating wineries, along with a variety of special retail offers, library tastings, food and wine pairings and other activities and events only available to “Pawsport Napa Valley” pass holders. Several of the participating wineries also invite you to meet the winery dog and/or cat when stopping by. In addition, many of the participating wineries will also donate a portion of their sales during “Pawsport Napa Valley” to support the programs and services of Napa Humane.

While “Pawsport Napa Valley is designed for two-legged wine fans, many of the participating wineries also welcome their four-legged companion animals. Those wineries on the map above are dog-friendly and you can find out more about each of them on the DogTrekker.com event link here.
