The Whole EnchihuahuaIt’s that time again, the time of year when San Franciscans emerge from their homes and enjoy the summer weather and what better way than by helping a breed of dog most in need of rescue. Chihuahua’s are some of the cutest, and smartest animal friends around and yet they are routinely found in shelters around the country waiting to find their forever home. So put on some sunscreen, grab your hoodie and join 7×7 and the SF SPCA in Dolores Park Saturday May 18th for the 3rd annual Whole Enchihuahua.

The day, which begins at 12 p.m. is chock full of awesome activities starting with the every popular costume contest, the first 125 dogs to enter will receive a complimentary Designed for Good hand soap from Method! Let your four-legged pal strut his or her stuff for a chance to win prizes such as: Luxury package from K9 Scrub Club, a Pet Camp whirlwind doggie weekend stay, a year's supply of Method Home products, certificates from Mijo & Bambi, Happy Hounds Massage and the San Francisco SPCA and more!

Don’t feel like strutting in the Catwalk Costume Contest? Never fear there is something for everyone at this year’s event. From dental checks for the four-legged attendees to Ask a Trainer forums for the two-legged, you can even smooch a pooch or screen-print your own t-shirt, and so much more!! If you are looking for a new pal to take home this is the place for you. The SF SPCA, San Francisco Chihuahua Meetup, Muttville Senior Dog Adoption, Northern California Family Dog Rescue, Loup Garou, Save A Bunny, Wonderdog Rescue, and MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue will have animals looking for a loving home.
