Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) held it’s annual fundraiser and community festival at Heather Farm Park this weekend. And by the smiles on their faces, the pooches and their people all had a great time meeting new friends, eating tasty treats, and enjoying the beautiful sunny day.
Plus, the best news is that well before the final tallies have been counted, ARF has exceeded their $75,000 fundraising goal! All of the money raised at this event will go to the extensive list of programs that ARF offers to ensure the care and well-being of animals and animal loving people in Contra Costa County.
The DogTrekker crew enjoyed the new venue at Heather Farm Park. ARF has told us that they plan on being there again next year while Broadway remains under construction. See more photos here!
