A pedigreed playground for your pup

The active Noyo Harbor fishing village sets an engaging backdrop for a Noyo Harbor Inn stay. Walk your dog around the village, or plan adventures at the area’s state parks, beaches, botanical gardens and attractions. Ride the famous Skunk Train. Admire shimmering Glass Beach at sunset. Photograph Fort Bragg murals. You’ll find plenty of fun for you and your four-legged friends.

California’s rugged North Coast is a popular outdoor playground with hiking and biking trails that wiggle along waterfalls, redwood groves and windswept Pacific beaches. Pet parents favor Noyo Beach, with an off-leash area where the Noyo River meets Noyo Bay. Dogs can also run without leash on Seaside Beach, six miles north of Fort Bragg. (Please note, some areas are restricted to protect the resident snowy plovers.)

Textile artists, ceramicists, painters and mural collections make downtown Fort Bragg a rich cultural stop. The dog-friendly Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens puts flowers in focus, with roses, rhododendrons, dahlias, fuchsias and other beauties blooming throughout the summer season.
