Many dog-friendly restaurant decks and patios in Mendocino County will contribute to making your trip more memorable. A favorite: the second-story Harbor View Bistro and Bar at the Noyo Harbor Inn, overlooking a large marina in one direction and the Noyo River in the other. You can also dine indoors with your dog at our vegan/vegetarian choice, Ravens Restaurant at the Stanford Inn; or have dinner outdoors under a tent at the Little River Inn.
Is there a vegetarian or vegan in your party? Have no despair, just hustle to Stanford Inn by the Sea, where Ravens Restaurant will delight with vegan selections that might just give you a whole new perspective on the heights non-dairy, non-meat food can reach, whether it’s a starter, an entrée or desert. It’s all farm-to-fork fresh, with sea palm and root vegetable strudel standing out as a signature dish. Wellness, relaxation and only-in-California recreation are woven into each stay, and dogs are welcome in guest rooms, on the patio and in the parlor.
Golf, tennis, spa and dog-friendly dining are yours at Little River Inn, where dogs are welcome in the heated outdoor dining tent. Although Ole’s Whalewatch Inn was still closed due to COVID at last check, it continues to offer an exceptional cocktail program. For dinner, try the steamed clam chowder or the grilled peach and radicchio for starters and maybe the cioppino for a main course. All fresh and local, of course!
