Here at DogTrekker we are starting 2013 off with a bang at the Bay Area Pet Expo taking place Saturday, January 12 at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds. Come join us, and over 150 local and nationally recognized veterinarians, groomers, trainers, retailers and organizations for a fun filled pet-centric day. Uprights and their and their well-behaved dogs are welcome to peruse the booths at this free indoor event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Bay Area Pet Expo is designed to promote responsible pet ownership and to that effort there will be a mega adoption event hosted by Banfield Pet Hospital. Come down and meet over 200 pets who are looking for their forever home. In addition to the hundreds of animals up for adoption there will be information on numerous rescue and adoption agencies in and around the area.
While at the expo be sure to keep your eye out for Hercules who will be accompanying Shorty Rossi the star of Animal Planet’s ‘Pit Boss’ and signing some paw prints as well. There will also be live demonstrations, agility course performances, dock diving and information about nutrition, obedience training and more. If your dog is feeling a star turn you can even enter him in one of several competitions-pet/owner musical chairs anyone?
