The DogTrekker.com staff and 4-paw ambassadors Layah and Kayla, were on hand to greet the hundreds of attendees at the 15th Anniversary of the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society’s Bay to Barkers event this past Sunday. Nearly $20,000 was raised for the BEBHS during the four hour program.
Since 1927, the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society has been dedicated to placing homeless animals with committed caretakers and has saved well over 40,000 animals. The BEBHS works hard to be a resource for all of the municipal agencies within the Alameda and Contra Costa County service areas.
The weather at Golden Gate Fields was sunny and bright, if not a bit windy. The walk along the Albany Beach/Bulb shoreline was fun, as was the entertainment, craft activities, doggy games and contests. The Berkeley East Bay Humane has always hosted a great event, fun for dogs and those who follow. We look forward to 2013!
