On Sunday, August 5, from noon to 5 p.m., you are invited to celebrate Fort Bragg’s birthday and its newly completed coastal trail—a multi-use, ADA-accessible paved trail with spectacular views and many interpretive panels explaining the human and natural history of the site. Views that have been off-limits to the general public for over a century are now open for public enjoyment, and the wildlife viewing opportunities here are varied and superb!
Enjoy a celebratory afternoon of fun for all including music, live entertainment, food, drink, and lots of local businesses and non-profit groups.
The Noyo Center for Marine Science will have events near the Crow’s Nest Interpretive Center that will focus awareness on their Help the Kelp initiative, a collaborative effort to restore the area's kelp which has been decimated in recent years.
Dogs welcome!
