Inspiration for Adventure

Travel & Adventure Show Logo

For this event, we’re straying off our usual path of highlighting dog-friendly events. Dogs are not actually allowed at the Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show; but because this event will enlighten you to many new and exciting dog-friendly destinations and adventures, we know Max won’t mind staying home for this one.

This is one of the biggest travel shows on the West Coast and many of our Dog-Passionate partners will be there; including our Gold Country Visitor Association members (Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada, Sierra Counties plus Folsom and Sacramento); our Yosemite Region members (Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties); and Mendocino County, Redding/Shasta Cascade, San Luis Obispo and Sonoma County.

This is your ticket to discover new and fun dog-friendly places to go, score great deals and win prizes, try the zip line or dive in the scuba pool. It is also the perfect opportunity to let the hospitality industry know what good business sense it makes to become a dog-friendly destination. There are over 1.6 million dog owners in the Bay Area alone, and most of us bring our canine companions on the road with us. That’s nothing to sniff at. It’s high time that more travel destinations roll out the welcome mat to our pet friends.

The Travel and Adventure Show will have something for everyone, be prepared to be inspired.
