Lucca is ready to find his forever family
Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days is offering free adoptions to qualified households at events throughout the Bay Area May 31 and June 1. Help them reach their goal of finding loving homes for 10,000 homeless animals during this amazing 2-day event.
Maddie’s Fund, a pet rescue foundation, is helping to create a no-kill nation where all healthy and treatable shelter dogs are guaranteed a loving home. Maddie's Pet Adoption Days help little guys like Lucca find their forever family.
Little Lucca hasn’t gotten off to the easiest start in life. This 9-month-old pup was found stray on the streets of San Francisco. He was on his own for a long time and had some skin mites, and is a little weary of people. But with a little TLC from the San Francisco SPCA veterinary and volunteer teams, his skin has started to clear up and he is becoming more outgoing every day.
Visit Lucca at the San Francisco SPCA Pacific Heights Campus at 2343 Fillmore Street. Lucca needs a second chance and a new beginning, but with a little patience and a slow approach, he’ll be out of his shell and snuggling in your lap in no time!
