The Caldor Fire has crossed two major highways and swept down into the Lake Tahoe Basin. The fire forced a mandatory evacuation of South Lake Tahoe on Monday and the normally busy mountain destination is basically shut down.
Our friends at the upcoming Wild Blue Dog Camp have announced that the week-long event has been canceled. Originally scheduled for September 6-12, it is unknown at this time if the event will be rescheduled later in the fall or simply not held this year.
