SF’s Antiquated Dog Code May Change

San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener just introduced legislation to repeal what he terms antiquated provisions in the city's Police Code. Among the laws he thinks have outlived their usefulness: the one that currently prohibits anyone from tying a dog to a street tree or a street light.

"It's important to continually reevaluate our existing laws to see whether they still make sense," said Wiener in a Facebook post.
