Things may seem a little different around the office on Friday, June 24; it's Take Your Dog To Work Day!
Created by Pet Sitters International (PSI) to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions, this event encourages employers to experience the joys of pets in the workplace for one day to support their local pet community.
An estimated 300 businesses participated in the inaugural celebration of TYDTWDay. Since that time, America’s love affair with pets and interest in TYDTWDay has grown to an all-time high.
If your employer agrees to participate in this event and welcomes your four-legged best friend to accompany you to the office on Friday, June 24, your work day may be filled with belly rubs, lots of napping and an overall less stressful, more relaxing (and fun) work environment.
