If you're going to San Francisco this holiday season, don't miss the chance to check out Holiday Windows. It's a SF collaboration between the San Francisco SPCA, San Francisco Animal Care and Control, and Macy's Union Square to bring a bit of joy and cuteness to the often stressful shopping experience–and over 10,000 pets over the years have found new homes thanks to this beloved tradition.
On "display" in the windows are a whole lot of very appealing and very adoptable puppies (also kittens, rabbits, chinchillas and more). If you're looking for a new family member to add to the joys of the season, adoption counselors are on hand to help you make a good match and take your new puppy home. (Regular adoption process applies.)
Maybe you're not seeing your dream dog at Macy's? No worries, because SFSPCA has many of all ages, types, and personalities waiting to meet you at its Mission and Pacific Heights campuses.
Not looking to adopt right now because you and your dogs are content as you are? You can still help SFSPCA save lives and get a treasured keepsake as Santa Paws comes to Macy's December 12. Tickets are $45, which includes a portrait with Santa, two people, and two dogs. RSVP here.
